JAMMU, Feb 9: In order to find out more about the actions taken in response to a recent representation made by senior BJP leader Yudhveer Sethi to the Advisor regarding the appalling state of football in the Jammu district, a delegation of veteran football players from Jammu called Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar, Advisor to Lieutenant Governor here today.
The Advisor listened to the members’ demands, emphasizing the need for a new synthetic turf stadium with floodlights at the GGM Science College football field, along with additional restrooms, changing rooms and the essential gym facilities for young girls and boys.
The Advisor instructed the delegation to submit two distinct proposals for the additional facilities needed at Mini Stadium, Parade, and the necessary facilities at GGM Science College.
Members thanked the Advisor for giving them a patient hearing. Members present were Ashok Sharma, Amarjeet Singh, Yousaf Don, Nitin Bagga and Kamaljit Kumar.
