JAMMU, Mar 28: Vemedh Rangmanch, a Theatre and Cultural Group celebrated World Theatre Day by staging a Kashmiri short play ‘Dayee Sanz Dayegath’ at Sanjeevani Shardha Kendra, here.
The play was written by Ravinder Dhar and directed by Rohit Bhat.
Ramesh Aryan, social activist was the chief guest on the occasion, while mentor and guide of the group, Rakesh Roshan Bhat presented welcome address and highlighted the works of the group.
Artists who performed in the play were Rakesh Tickoo, Daizy Bazaz, Arvin Tickoo, and Rahul Pandita, supported by Jatinder Jotshi, Rahul Kilam, Jatinder Raina, Rajni Bhatt, Supriya Pandita, Sunny Mujoo and Veer Ji Sumbli. Captain Maharaj, Sanjay Bhat, Vinod Raina and Anil Sumbly were also present on the occasion.
