UT level Shooting C’ship enters Day 2

JAMMU, Sept 21: J&K UT level Shooting Championship, being organised by J&K Rifle Association at three different venues including Aim10x Shooting Academy Talab Tillo Jammu, Mission Olympic Shooting Academy Jammu and SKPA Udhampur got underway, here today.
Tajeinderpal Singh of JKP scored 388/400 in Air Rifle Senior((NR) Rifle Men, whereas Romijeet of Jammu district scored 379/400 in Men NR(MQS), and Adhiraj Singh scored 614.50 and Raveena Jangid scored 608.40 in ISSF Air Rifle Youth Men and ISSF Sub Youth Women categories respectively and remained the top scorers.
Kuldeep Singh Jamwal, president J&K Rifle Association and Sharat Chander Singh organising secretary of the championship visited the shooting ranges to oversee the conduct of the competitions.
The matches are being conducted by Surjit Singh, Tarundev Singh, both technical officials under the supervision of Rajesh Virdhy and Anu Sharma, official from National Rifle Association of India.
The competitions of 25 metres and 50 metres will be conducted tomorrow at SKPA Udhampur.
