DODA Aug 5: 20 Annual Jantroon Top historic and mega dangal was organized by Jantroon Top Sub Division, Thathri here today.
The Championship was held under the overall supervision of Chairman of the Association, Fazal Alam Wani along with other members Nixon Chandail and Asif Wani.
50 bouts were played in the three days long Vishal Dangal wherein Wrestlers from Kathu, Jammu, Udhampur, Doda and Kishtwar participated.
Tehsildar Kahara was the chief guest on the occasion who distributed cash prizes among the winners.
The first main bout was fought between Wrestler Sulaman from Udhampur and Wrestler Vijay Kumar from Jammu .
This bout which lasted for 15 minutes was won by Suleman from Udhampur.
The winner of the first malli bout Sulaman was awarded with a cash prize of Rs 6,000 by Tehsildar Kahara, while the runners-up Wrestler Vijay got Rs 4000 from the Committee members.
