Inter-District-Divisional Level C’ship

DODA, Sept 13: The Inter-District Divisional Level Volleyball Tournament for U-14 year girls commenced at the Sport Stadium here today.
The event is being organized by the Youth Services and Sports Department Doda and the tournament shall continue till 5th of October 2023. With 8 districts of Jammu Division participating in the Volleyball tournament, the districts of Jammu, Doda, Rajouri, Reasi, Poonch, Kathua, Udhampur and Samba are participating in the grand event. Deputy Commissioner, Vishesh Mahajan as the chief guest during the inaugural function. Accompanying him as the guest of honour was SSP, Abdul Qayoom.
DYSSO, Jaffer Haider Sheikh gave details of the competitions that are being organised by the District Youth Services and Sports Office Doda. The Deputy Commissioner said that the participation of the girl players in the tournament will strengthen their willpower. The tournament began with a match between Kathua and Poonch Volleyball teams. The Deputy Commissioner Doda and SSP Doda also joined the first playing match between Kathua and Poonch with beautiful services.
