Two days Jammu District Karate Championship concludes

JAMMU, May 20: Two days Jammu District Karate Championship concluded at indoor multipurpose hall, MA Stadium, here today.
On the occasion, Ambedkar Gupta, General Secretary, AKAJK was the chief guest, who presented the medals among the winners along with Advocate Vishal Sharma, President, Jammu District Karate Association, who was the guest of honour.
All the senior members of the association and renowned coaches of Karate including Manoj Mehra, Brijesh Bahu, Naresh Chander, Amit Singh and Vikas Dhar were present during the closing ceremony.
In the end, Umesh Rekhi, Organizing Secretary Jammu District Karate Championship presented the vote of thanks.
In 6 years Boys, Rajveer Bali, Sahas Gandotra and Saransh Nanda secured first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in girls’ category, Avantika Singh, Aanya Mahajan, Anmol and Hridhya Bhat emerged winners.
In 7 years Boys, Himaksh Dev Singh, Divij Verma and Droan Dushyant bagged first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in girls’ category, Manvi Bhushan, Sejal Bhat, Shivanshi and Ashi Kajal emerged winners.
In 8 years Boys, Shiv Sunder Gaur, Aashish, Nirvighan Pratap Singh and Aradhak Isher emerged winners, whereas in girls’ category, Akshita Sharma, Tamana, Raja Latif and Sonakshi emerged winners.
In 14-15 years Cadet Boys below 52 kg, Anjan Chopra, Boby Kumar and Raghav Kumar bagged first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in under 63 kg category, Sushan Sharma and Tushar Kumar emerged winners.
In 16-17 years Junior Boys (50 Kg), Olive Trehan, Kalyan Khajuria and Dheeraj Singh bagged first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in 14-15 years Cadet Boys (57 kg), Anshuman Sharma, Aarush Puri, Gagandeep and Hemang Koul emerged winners.
In 14-15 Cadet Girls (Kata Event), Srishti Wali and Nadhika Handoo emerged winners, whereas in under-13 Sub Junior Girls (Kata Event), Shreya Labroo and Aanya Gupta emerged winners.
In above 18 years Senior Girls (Kata Event), Shagun Chib and Ashima Chib emerged winners, whereas in boys section, Amit Kumar, Mohit Kumar, Gurpreet Singh and Bobby Kumar emerged winners.
In under 14-15 and 16-17 years Boys (Kata Event), Manik Dhar and Anshuman Sharma emerged winners, whereas in under-13 category, Ansh and Unique Khangwal emerged winners.
In above 18 years boys (55 kg), Nikhil Singh Rajput, Vishal Kumar and Vikram Singh bagged first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in under-60 kg, Rajat Manhas, Bhuvan Vasudev, Mohit Singh and Sahil Sagar emerged winners.
In above 18 Boys (below 67 kg), Sourav Mehra, Revati Nandan, Manik Sharma and Joginder emerged winners, whereas in below 75 kg, Abhijeet Singh, Ankit Sharma and Abhimanyu Singh secured first, second and third positions respectively.
In above 18 Boys (below 84 kg), Anup Singh, Kanveer Singh ad Sahil Sambyal bagged first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in above 84 kg category, Sahil Singh and Vikas Singh emerged winners.
In above 18 Girls (below 45 kg), Tanisha Mahajan and Twinkle Trehan emerged winners, whereas in below 50 kg, Deepa Sharma bagged first position, in below 55 kg, Shagun Chib and Diksha Thakur secured first and second positions respectively and in below 68 kg, Deepika Chauhan emerged winner.
