JAMMU, May 11: J&K Bharat Scouts and Guides (JKBSG) today organized a two-day workshop at its State Headquarters here at Gandhi Nagar, on ‘Messenger of Peace’ chapter of WOSM & WAGGGS in which 12 Rovers and 18 Rangers from The Law School, University of Jammu, participated.
Dr Monica Narang, Assistant Prof, was the chief guest of the opening ceremony. The workshop was organized on the directions of ID Soni, State Commissioner, J&K Bharat Scouts and Guides.
Haroon Malik, State Coordinator, ‘Messenger of Peace’ and Smiley Gupta, vice chairperson of Youth Committee, are key persons of the workshop, which will conclude tomorrow.
Dr Monica Narang, while speaking on the occasion, highlighted the achievements of the movement in a most impressive manner.
Earlier, Sehaj, State secretary, ‘Mesenger of Peace’ presented the welcome address. Smiley Gupta presented the vote of thanks and Haroon Malik conducted the whole programme.
HL Dogra, Joint State Commissioner(s), MM Sharma, Zonal Commissioner, RC Vaid, Zonal Commissioner and Ashok Sharma, Publicity Commissioner, were also present on the occasion.
