JAMMU, Sept 16: Trikuta Degree College, Nardani-Raipur, Jammu held a symposium on the topic, ”Depletion of Ozone Layer-A threat to life”, here today.
8 students and 2 teachers namely Renu Bala and Amita Gupta, from Department of Computer Science and Environmental Science respectively spoke on the occasion.
All the speakers expressed their views and had a common opinion that the climatic change has caused havoc in the atmosphere resulting in global warming.
Dr RL Sharma, Chairman of Shri Sain Charitable Trust was the chief guest on the occasion, who spoke on the disastrous situation caused by the depletion of Ozone Layer.
Prof PK Koul, Principal of the College presided over the function.
Sunakshi and Pooja conducted the proceedings of the programme.
