JAMMU, July 17: Trikuta Cricket Academy (Trikuta CA) trounced Stephen CA by two wickets in the ongoing three match series, being played at Railway Ground, here today.
Stephens CA won the toss and decided to bat first. Batting first, Stephens CA scored 161 runs in 28.3 overs. Aditya Negi made highest 46 runs, whereas Vrishab Jamwal and Rajveer Jamwal contributed 20 runs each to the total. From bowling side, Aditya Singh took three wickets while Mubbasir secured two wickets.
In reply, the Trikuta CA chased the target in 26.2 overs for the loss of eight wickets, thus won the match by two wickets. Aditya Singh scored 21 runs, Mubassir made 29 runs, whereas Vasu Lamba and Uttkarsh Gupta contributed 25 and 21 runs respectively to the total. For Stephens CA, Abhishek and Harshdeep took two wickets each.
Aditya Singh was awarded with man of the match award for his outstanding performance with bat and ball.
The tournament is being organised under the overall supervision of Sukomal Ganguly, Head coach of both the Academies.
