JAMMU, Mar 16: Tral Hunters beat Tawi-II and Hirangar trounced Maa Infotech with six wickets and 81 runs in the ongoing Babu Jagjivan Ram T20 Cricket Tournament, being played at MA Stadium, here today.
The first match was played between Tral Hunters and Tawi-II wherein former defeated the latter by six wickets.
Batting first, Tawi-II made 89 runs by losing all wickets, whereas opponent team chased the target by losing only four wickets in 16.4 overs and won the match by six wickets. Asif was declared as man of the match who made 49 runs and clinched two wickets.
In second match which was played between Maa Infotech and Hiranagar. Batting first, Hiranagar made 159 runs on the loss of seven wickets in stipulated 20 overs, whereas the Maa Infotech bundled out at 78 runs in 16 overs and lost the match with 81 runs. Shivam was declared as man of the match who made unbeaten 70 runs for Hirangar.
Surinder Bhagat, BJP former State president SC Morcha was the chief guest who distributed man of the match prizes to players.
