REASI, July 5: The training programme for 17 youth on “Electric Motor Rewinding” organised by State Bank of India Rural Self Employment Training Institute(SBI-RSETI), concluded today.
On the occasion, Dr Jagdish Mehra, Project Officer, DRDA was the chief gust, who distributed certificates among passed out trainees.
While speaking, Dr Mehra laid emphasis on the need for channelising youth talent constructively for self employment and economic development.
Interacting with passed out trainees, he exhorted them to come forward whole heartedly and take benefit of various subsidy linked Government schemes.
SK Kandroo, Director, SBI-RSETI assured support of all types by offering handholding for two years till the settlement of the trained youth.
He said that in the present scenario of rising unemployment, youth particularly from rural areas, with their low income as well as confidence levels, are unable to pursue higher studies/ trainings, hence are unable to obtain wage employment.
In a message from Rohit Mehta, LDM, SBI stressed the need to channelize the youth talent for constructive purpose and prevent this section of the society from falling into the hands of anti-social elements.
