JAMMU, Nov 17: State Level Women Sports Under-25 Women Tournament, under Rajiv Gandhi Khel Abhiyan (RGKA) in the discipline of Hockey, Athletics and Handball got underway at KK Hakku Stadium, SOS Gole Gujral and Dogra Ground Jammu, here.
The Tournament is being organized by the Department of Youth Services & Sports as a part of annual calendar of sports activities under the patronage of Jehangir Mir, Director General Youth Services and Sports, J&K, under the supervision of Sukhdev Raj Sharma, DYSSO Jammu.
In Handball Under-25 Women, Kishtwar beat Doda by (8-4). Leela Devi scored 6 goals, Mahima and Dimple scored 1 goal each for Kishtwar, while Kajal scored 4 goals for Doda district.
In another match, Udhampur defeated Reasi by (11-2). Mehak Sharma scored 10 goals and Seema Devi 1 goal for Udhampur, while Champa Rani and Ruby netted 1 goal each for Reasi.
The match were officiated by Ajay Sharma, Gourav Sharma and Sanjay Jamwal
In Hockey Under-25 years Women, Poonch outplayed Kishtwar by (6-0) goals.
The matches were officiated by Harvinder Singh, Gurmeet Singh and Mandeep Singh.
