Tiny Tots HSS Roop Nagar celebrates 17th Annual Day

JAMMU, Dec 24: Tiny Tots Higher Secondary School, Roop Nagar celebrated its 17th Annual Day on the theme “Importance of Education” with zeal and enthusiasm in the school premises here today.
The chief guest for the day was Abdul Ghani Kohli, Minister for Animal, Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries J&K Govt Hari Om Sharma, District President Youth BJP Jammu, Rajinder Manhas, Patron Yuva Rajput Sabha and Senior PDP Leader were the guests of honour for the day.
The programme began with the traditional lighting of lamp by the Chairperson of the Tiny Tots Group of Schools, Veena Handa along with the chief guest and other dignitaries. This was followed by Saraswati Vandana. The Skit Cum dance by Class 1 and 2 students on “Education to girls” held the audience spell-bound. Class 4 students presented A musical ballet on “Child Labour” which touched everyone’s heart. A drama on “English tenses” was exhibited by Class 5 students whereas an English Play “Merchant of Venice” was displayed by senior wing students. Class 3 students presented a dance on importance of schools. Students also enacted an English Skit on “Ethical Values” which was highly appreciated. The Star kids section of Tiny Tots also sang and danced on their favorite educational rhymes and songs. A musical band of Tiny Tots “Hard Rock” was a feast to the eyes and ears. No one could stop clapping their hands and thumping their feet on the fusion of Indian and western culture in the “Digital One India” dance.
The programme was anchored Deepali Handa, highlighted the achievements of school.
She said that school has made tremendous prog-ress within a short span of time and many of the students had participated in international competitions and won laurels for the school.
The chief guest praised the school management for providing quality education.
