Tie-breaker win by ONGC FC

SRINAGAR, June 8: ONGC Football Club defeated SBT FC  by six goals to four (6:4) in the first semifinal match of Kashmir Invitation Football Cup 2014 to enter the finals at Polo Ground, here today.
ONGC FC took the early lead in 20th minute of the match through striker Nitesh Munda. However, the players of SBT FC came back strongly and scored an equalizer in the 24th minute through Noushad.
In the second half, the players of both teams tried their best to increase the lead, but failed in their efforts and the match was finally decided via tie-breaker, wherein ONGC scored 5 goals while SBT netted only 3 goals, to help ONGC win by (6-4).
Naushad of ONGC FC was declared man of the match for displaying superb soccer skills.
In another semifinal, the match between J&K Forest and Air India Football Club remained undecided as both the teams were goalless till the crowd disturbed the proceedings.
Both the teams played aggressive and attacking football but failed to convert chances into goals
