JAMMU, May 28: The Shri Ram Universal School Jammu invested its newly appointed Student Council with Prefectorial responsibilities for the academic year 2024-25 to inculcate a sense of commitment and responsibility among the students with their heads held high as future leaders.
The event witnessed the expressions on the teachers, staff, and parents of the student council members’ faces, which shows that each deserving student is dedicated to the responsibilities assigned. The new leadership took an oath to serve the school and the student community they represent with utmost loyalty and sincerity.
The ceremony was presided over by the chief guest Commandant Security Forces Shailesh, Chairman of the school, Sanjeev Gupta, Director Rajni Gupta, Principal, Sonika Mahajan and Headmistress, Shivani Vaid Sharma.
The elected leaders were conferred with badges and sashes jointly by all the dignitaries who congratulated them on their achievement. The Students Council took the pledge to hold the school motto Live, Learn, Lead in high esteem. The chief guest urged the students to realize the importance of opportunities that come in their way and acquire skills that will make them worthy citizens who are willing to give back not only to their family but also to the society, nation and the world at large.
