JAMMU, Mar 28: A 31 members J&K team including four officials today left for participation in the upcoming 23rd Junior and Youth National Tennis Volleyball Championship, scheduled to be held at Nanded, Maharashtra from April1 to 4.
The team was screened by the Screening Committee of the J&K Sports Council (JKSC) at MA Stadium, under the supervision of Ashok Singh Divisional Sports Officer (J) in presence of Satish Gupta, Manager along with members of the Association including Dr Navneet Gupta- general secretary, Tarsem Sharma – senior vice-president and Arshad Aziz.
Team for Junior and Youth Boys: Irfan Shafi Shekh, Aasif Bhat, Moin Haider Masli, Umaid Fayaz, Musharf Dar, Faisal Dar, Raja Ruvaid Bhat, Sahil Muzaffar, Danish Ahmad, Zaid Bin Shabir, Burhan Fayaz Zamid Rayaz, Furhan Bashir and Fahad Manzoor.
Team for Junior and Youth Girls: Mahi Sharma, Akarshita Charak, Anjuman Reshi, Syed Marfat, Misbah Majeed, Dua Mukhtar, Afshana Farooq, Safiha Shabir, RifatFayaz, Suhairah Ahad, Rishika Sharma and Falak Shamim Dar.
Danish Sharma, Rahul Bansh, Tajamul and Aashima Pathania will accompany the team as officials.
