Ten days Children Theatre & Dance Workshop concludes at JU

JAMMU, June 30: Ten days Children Theatre and Dance Workshop organized by the Department of Students Welfare, University of Jammu concluded here this afternoon with the presentation of Dance and Drama.
More than 40 participating children performed at the valedictory function at Brigadier Rajinder Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu.
Prof RD Sharma, Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu was the chief guest, who thoroughly enjoyed the performance of the children who had fun filled learning during the workshop which was conducted by Dr Priya Dutta, Sumeet Sharma and Ifra Kak.
Earlier in his welcome address, Prof Pankaj K Srivastava, Dean Students Welfare told about the idea of conducting such a unique workshop within the campus which was certainly very effective in kindling confidence and self realization in the participants. Such workshops leave a very effective impression in the young minds which are full of inquisitiveness and imagination.
The programme was witnessed by a huge gathering which included members of Campus Cultural Committee, faculty members, officers, employees of the University and parents of the participants.
The children who participated in the workshop included Stuti Saigal, Ruhaani, Dikshit Gupta, Supreet Singh, Kamya Langer, Kartikay Singh, Himanshu Kundal, Kartik Sharma, Tathagat Chandra Shekhar, Kritika Dutt, Anandita Dutt, Swara Sharma, Iva Bharti, Ira Vaid, Aiman Reyaz, Amogh Sharma, Ankush Mehra, Aradhya Sethi, Arafat K Chowdhary, Arnav Singh, Aviral Dewan, Devam Antahal, Harshit Kour, Kamya Mahajan, Keshavveer Sharma, Manya Dogra, Mohd. Alyas, Mohd. Hamza Reyaz, Nakul Sharma, Namit Sharma, Nandini Sharma, Niharika Shehria, Nikhil Sharma, Shambhavi Sharma, Sherill Verma, Sunidhi Mehra, Tanish Dharaie, Tushar Dharaie, Vidita Sumbria, Vihaan Aditya Gupta and Vikalp Sodhi. Kulbhushan Thakur looked after the hall management.
