JAMMU, Nov 16: Badminton team comprising of 3 under-13 boys and 3 under-13 girls has been selected to represent J&K in the Sub-Junior National Badminton Championship, which will be held at Kadapa Andhra Pradesh from November 21 to 25.
The boys selected are Ibrahim-bin-Ajaz, Saarthak Jain and Shourya Pratham, whereas the girls selected are Snowy Goswami, Krishika Mahajan and Shambhavi Rajput.
Amir Aslam and Sonia Goswami will accompany the team as Coach and Lady Manager respectively.
Among others present on the occasion were Ravi Singh, Divisional Sports Officer, J&K Sports Council Jammu, Ashok Singh, Manager KK Hakku Stadium, Satish Gupta, Manager, Indoor Sports Complex MA Stadium, Dr OD Sharma, Chairman, J&K Badminton Association, Balbir Singh Jamwal, General Secretary, J&K Badminton Association and Satpal Sharma, Badminton Coach. The team will leave tomorrow.
