Jammu, Sept 5: General secretary of J&K Amateur Kabaddi Association, Kuldeep Kumar Gupta, under the guidance of the president of the Association, Anil Gupta (Anu) constituted Talent Search Committee for the game of Kabaddi, here.
The talent of budding youth in boys and girls sections in each district as well as the State will be tapped for Coaching Camp before participation in the forthcoming Nationals. However, the players have to be registered before September 30, 2014 with State Association.
The performance of the Talent Search Committee members will be monitored by the president and after assessing the same, the panel of selectors will be elected for the next year.
NIS coaches Sudesh Kumar Sharma, Manik Sharma and Dharamjeet Singh will search and pick up the talented probables in Inter-Battalion Kabaddi tournament organized by J&K Police Department.
NIS Kabaddi coaches Ravinder Singh Bali and Ajay Gupta will pick up the talented probables Under-14, Under-17 and Under-19 in boys and girls section in Inter-School, Inter-District and Inter-Province competition, organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports in Jammu Province.
Anil Sharma, NIS Kabaddi Coach will search and pick up the talented probables in Inter-College Kabaddi tournament in boys and girls section organized by the University of Jammu, while Deeraj Sharma NIS Kabaddi coach will search and pick up the talented probables in Inter- KV Kabaddi tournament organized by Kendriya Vidayala.
Ankush Gupta NIS Kabaddi coach will search and pick up the talented probables in Inter-Battalion (Army) Kabaddi tournaments, organized by Para Military Forces, while Rayees Ahmed NIS Kabaddi Coach and Mohd Arif NIS Kabaddi coach from Kashmir Province will search and pick up the talented probables in boys and girls section in Inter-School, Inter-District and Inter-Province competition in Under-14, Under-17 and Under-19 years organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports and Inter-Collegiate Kabaddi tournament in boys and girls section, organized by University of Kashmir.
The Association has advised the all the NIS Kabaddi coaches to prepare the list of the probables in all the categories the jobs of which have been assigned to them alongwith address and telephone numbers and handover the same to general secretary of the Association as early as possible.
