JAMMU, May 1: Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) announced the talent hunt schedule for Jammu province by the Member Cricket Operations and Development of JKCA, Mithun Manhas, here today.
The trials schedule was announced for four zones of Jammu province along with venues where trials will be organised. For zone-1 (Rajouri & Poonch), the trials will be held at Sports Stadium Poonch at 9 pm, while trials for zone -2 (Udhampur, Kathua and Reasi) will be organised at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Sports Complex at 9 pm and trials for zone-3 (Doda, Kishtwar and Ramban) will be held at Govt Degree College Ground Bhaderwah at 9 pm, besides trials for zone-4 (Samba and Jammu) will be held at Science College Hostel Ground Jammu at 8 pm.
As per the schedule announced by the JKCA, the trials for under-19 including Under-16, OD and DAYS scheduled to be held from May to 6 to 8, while trials for under-23 men’s from May 9 to 10 and the trials for senior men’s from May 11 to 13 at above mentioned venues.
The same schedule will be followed by trials for women, said Brig Anil Gupta (Retd.), Member Administration, JKCA and also stated that the trials will be held in whites for men and in coloured clothing for women. The players are advised to report at the designated venue well before the given time along with digitized DOB certificate, School leaving certificate /marksheet/ other documents will not be accepted as DOB proof. The cut off dates for the various age groups are: for U-23, the player should be born on or after September 1, 1999, while for U-19, the player should be born on or after September 1, 2003 and for U-16, the participant should be born on or after September 1, 2006.
