JAMMU, Dec 12: Minister for Youth Services & Sports, Taj-Mohi-ud-Din, on Thursday flagged off players of the J&K Thang-Ta Association for participation in the 20th Thang-Ta Championship to be held at Imphall, Manipur, from 17th to 20th of December 2013.
As many as, 81 players, both male and female, in the Sub Junior and Senior categories besides concerned officials would participate in this prestigious sports extravaganza.
The Minister complimented the sports persons for their participation in this national sports event with the hope that they will exhibit their talent to the optimum for bringing laurels to the state. He also appreciated the efforts of the association for organizing such morale boosting events and assured complete cooperation from the government in this regard.
President and General Secretary of the association besides other officers and officials were also present on the occasion.
