JAMMU, Dec 26: J&K’s wicketkeeper batsman, Tahsin Dar scored superb century in the match of Cooch Behar Under-19 Cricket Tournament against Hyderabad, being played at Gymkhana Cricket ground, Hyderabad.
Earlier resuming from an overnight total of 310/7, J&K managed to score 353 runs in 102.3 overs in their first innings. After Jiyaad’s marvelous century yesterday, Tahsin scored 113 off 210 balls, studded with 12 fours and 4 sixes. E Sanketh was the pick of the bowlers from Hyderabad, who took 5 important wickets.
In reply, Hyderabad were 293/3 at stumps on day-2, with Varun Gour and Sanchit Reddy unbeaten on 37 and 22 runs respectively. Ajay Dev Gour scored brilliant 108 runs, while Pragnay Reddy contributed 76 runs to the total.
Brijesh and Burhan claimed 1 wicket each for J&K.
