POONCH, Feb 23: Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) organsied Annual Inter-District AAG boys UT level Taekwondo Championship at Indoor Hall of Sports Stadium, here today.
The event was declared open by District Development Commissioner (DDC), Rahul Yadav, who was chief guest of the opening ceremony, whereas Krishan Lal Sharma was the guest of honour and Prem Parkash Luthra, Nirdosh Kumar I/c Manager Sports Stadium Poonch and Er Saleem Bandey were also present during the event besides Prof Fateh Mohd Abassi was special guest.
Earlier, DYSSO Mohd Qasim welcomed the chief guest and distinguished personalities and players.
The chief guest met with all the young budding players of 14 Districts of UT J&K and gave his good wishes for the event.
All bouts were held under the technical supervision of Rajiinder Singh (PET), whereas Pushap Thakur, Nitin Rathore, Farooq Ahmed Malik, Sandeep Kumar, Simar Kour, Amit Kumar, Waqaur and Pawandeep Singh were among technical panel.
