DODA, Sept 11: District level 3rd T-20 day & night Tennis Ball Cricket tournament, organised by Chenab Cultural and Sports Club, concluded at Sports Stadium, here today.
Arun Kumar Sharma, Station House Officer (SHO) Doda was the chief guest of the concluding ceremony. The final match was played between Rehmat Cricket Club and Green Shaheen.
Rehmat Cricket Club won the toss and decided to bat first. Batting first, Rehmat CC gave the target of 51 runs in 6.2 overs wherein Saleem Sheikh made highest18 runs. From the bowling side, Danish took four wickets.
In reply, Green Shaheen won the final by losing seven wickets wherein Sourav Katoch made highest unbeaten 17 runs and won the match by four wickets.
While addressing the players, the chief guest said that the youth were the real assets and they should be brought in limelight to boost their morale besides being provided with full support and encouragement.
Later, prizes were distributed among the winner and runner- up teams by the chief guest and other dignitaries.
