JAMMU, Aug 8: A symposium on the topic ‘Conservation of Biodiversity’ was organized in the school premises of SD Tara Puri Public High School by an NGO Ayurvedic Society for Health Awareness.
President of ASHA Organisation, Dr HN Patwari expressed his views on the topic, while management members including secretary Ram Lal Sharma, Principal Neeru Puri and other staff members were also present.
Students of Class 9th and 10th expressed their views on the topic and the prizes were given to the positioners.
The winner of 1st prize was Arti Mehra of Class 10th, while 2nd and 3rd prize was bagged by Rasika Sikka of Class 10th and Vardhan Padha of Class 9th respectively.
Later, Er Vikram Gour, Patron ASHA Organisations presented vote of thanks.
The main theme of the seminar was to create awareness among the future generation about the conservation of biodiversity.
