JAMMU, Sept 5: To encourage the young swimmers to raise their standard of performance at competitive level, a swimming competition for under-14 age group was organized in the KC Sports Club today.
To accommodate as many swimmers as possible, heats were conducted to select the best swimmers on time basis.
Finally, the best of them vied with each other for the position of the winner.
In the final event conducted on free style of swimming, Suditi Jamwal grabbed the first position, whereas Sanjmee Gupta stood second and Ridhyansh Khajuria finished third.
The Club intends to organize similar swimming contests in the future under different age categories for boys and girls separately.
