RAJOURI, June 27: Defeating Naresh Sharma of Akhnoor in a tough main bout, wrestler Swaran Singh of Jammu lifted Nallah-Barnada Kesari Dangal title, organized by Nallah-Barnada Dangal Committee in collaboration with J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association at Sunderbani, here today
Winner Swaran Singh was awarded with a cash prize of Rs 3100, while Naresh Sharma was presented a cash prize of Rs 2000 by Sanjeev Kumar Sharma, Joint Secretary of J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association.
The second main bout was won by Prem Verma of Jhiri, Jammu, who defeated Mustafa of Akhnoor and won a cash prize of Rs 2000 and Rs 1500 respectively. Suneet Singh of Kalakote clinched the third main bout, defeating Arjun Singh to win a cash prize of Rs 2100 and Rs 1200 respectively.
The technical committee members included Tirath Ram, Dev Raj, Bansi Lal, Raj Kumar, Shiv Nath and Sanjeev Kumar Sharma.
