Super Riders outplay Super Warriors by 12 runs

AKHNOOR, July 4: Super Riders defeated Super Warriors by a narrow margin of 12 runs in the ongoing Summer Cup T-20 Under-19 Cricket Tournament, being organized by Singh Cricket Club at Govt Higher Secondary School ground, here
Earlier, winning the toss and batting first, Super Riders Akhnoor elected scored a paltry total of 91runs in the stipulated 18 overs, losing 2 wickets in the process. Shubham 49 off 39 balls was the top scorer, while Sayam contributed 18 runs to the total. From Super Warriors, Abhinav and Smile shared 1 wicket each.
In reply, Super Warriors made 80/5 in 18 overs, thus lost the match by 12 runs. Sahil and Suri contributed 16 runs each, while Abhinav chipped in with 10 runs. From Super Riders, Vishal took 2 wickets, while Golu 1claimed one. Shubham was adjudged as man of the match.
The amtch was officiated by Arun Kumar and Deepak Mangotra as umpires, while Raman Sharma was the scorer.
The turnament is being organized under the overall supervision of Kr. Sham Singh Langeh, President Singh Cricket Club Akhnoor.
