JAMMU, July 25: Defeating their rivals convincingly in the semifinal clashes, Sunita Amla and Komal Bakshi have made it to the finals and will take on each other in the title clash of Carrom (Women) of the ongoing Jammu University Employees Tournament in various sports disciplines, being organised by the Campus Sports Committee (JU), here.
In Badminton (Men), semifinals position has been cleared with Vishal Sudan, Abhinav Sharma, Aman Singh and Sandeep Arya entering the last four stage.
In Badminton (Women), Sunita Amla drubbed Pooja Manhas and sealed berth in the semifinals.
In Chess (Men), Rajesh Kumar, Sumit Kapoor, Pankaj Gupta, Sahil Gupta, Vishal Sudan, Maxin Singh and Mr Sharma have made it to the quarterfinals.
The officiating panel included Raj Kumar Bakshi, S. Padam Dev Singh, Gagan Kumar, Ravish Vaid and Vikas Karlopia.
