POONCH, July 19: Kabaddi Coaching Summer Camp jointly organised by Jammu and Kashmir Amateur Kabaddi Association and Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council (JKSC) concluded at Government Higher Secondary School (Boys) at Mendhar here today.
Brigadier Dipendra Singh Commander 323 Mountain Brigade was the chief guest. Many other Army officers including Colonel Gurucharan Bais, Colonel Bhakta Rout, Lt. Col. Raj Shekhar Binu and Lt. Col. H. Khagemba attended the closing ceremony.
Kuldeep Kumar Gupta general secretary Amateur Kabaddi Association, S.S. Gill Technical Director, Baljinder Paul Singh Divisional Sports Officer Jammu, Surinder Mohan Gupta Observer and Amin Khan Fitness trainer J&K Police were among the other dignitaries. A total of 70 Kabaddi players from nine districts of Jammu province participated in the summer camp. The players were given participation certificates.
The event was witnessed by many noble citizens including Syed Saleem Shah, Principal HSS Boys Mendhar, Syed Zulfiqar Naqvi Principal HSS Girls Mendhar, Prof. (Dr.) Sirshad Hussain, Prof. Ibrahim Lone, Ajay Gupta Chief Coach Kabaddi Sports council J&K, Nirdosh Kumar Sharma Manager sports stadium Poonch, Choudhary Mohd Ashraf ex. Sarpanch Dabraj, Mushtaq Ahmed ex. Sarpanch Salwah, Mahboob Ahmed Mir PEL, Basharat Khan ZPEO, Ibrar Ahmed Khan PEM, Suresh Bali Physical Master, Vikram Bhasin PET, Kafil Khan Taxi Association President Mendhar, Staff members of HSS Boys & Girls and many students.
Appreciation certificates were also given to Syed Saleem Shah Principal HSS Boys Mendhar, Vikram Bhasin PET and Parwaz Azam Khan (teacher) for playing a crucial part in organising the event.
