SRINAGAR, July 1: The 4-days Summer Basketball League got underway at Indoor Stadium, here today.
Twenty teams drawn from Srinagar and adjoining areas will be participating in both boys and girls sections.
A total of 10 matches were played on the opening day today.
The Tournament was inaugurated by Divisional Sports Officer Kashmir, Nuzhat Ara, while Manager Indoor Stadium Srinagar, Sheikh Tulal was also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Mrs Ara lauded the efforts of the organizers for holding this mega event and appreciated and encouraged the players for displaying skill and talent.
The tournament is being organized and sponsored by K Cafe Dalgate and Adeeb International.
