JAMMU, May 18: The duo of J&K’s Sumitpal Singh and Faisal Quamar of Rajasthan defeated the pair of Yugal Bansal of Delhi and Uttkarsh of Uttarakhand in the summit clash to win the Under-14 boys tennis title in All India Ranking National Tennis Series at Prec Tennis Academy Andheri, West Mumbai, today.
Earlier, Sumitpal and Faisal lost the first set to opponents by (4 – 6), however the duo came back strongly and won the other two sets by 6-3, 10-5.
In singles Under-14 boys, Sumitpal Singh lost to Vashist Chereku of Karnatka by (3 – 6, 3 – 6).
