JAMMU, Jan 4: The 50 students from different schools of Jammu region whom CRPF had sent on a national integration tour returned back yesterday after the conclusion of 21st Rashtra Katha Shivir.
The tour was held from Dec 23 to 30 last year at village-Pransla in Rajkot, Gujarat.
A programme was organized at Headquarters of 33 Bn CRPF in Gangyal here today to accord reception to the touring students.
The event was presided over by Abhay Vir Chauhan, IG CRPF Jammu Sector.
The students shared their experience as how they got the opportunity to watch the culture and people of Gujarat so closely.
Speaking on the occasion, the IG CRPF said that such tours are opportunities for the youth to see different parts of the country, interact with people there and have first-hand knowledge about the geography, culture, language and society there.
These touring students belonged to Kishtwar, Doda, Ramban, Udhampur, Reasi, Jammu, Samba and Kathua districts of Jammu region.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were Chandra Bhushan, DIGP CRPF Group Centre Hiranagar; PC Jha DIG (Ops) Jammu North and other officers and personnel of CRPF.
