Student Social Enhancement Group organizes ‘Youth Fest’

JAMMU, Nov 22: With an aim to generate funds for the charities, a Student Social Enhancement Group organized first of its kind ‘Youth Fest at Gulshan Ground here today.
The fest was inaugurated by IGP Jammu Dr SD Singh Jamwal. A large number of persons including students were present during the fest.
While speaking on the occasion, the IGP commended the initiative taken up and said that such events can be a great way to raise money for a good cause while presenting a visible and positive approach towards society. He wished them good luck for the future.
The initiative was taken up by the Dot. ING “by the youth for the youth” Founding Members Arsh Mir, Alina Mir, Sheen Sony, MM Raza, Vidur Kumar, Nipun Sharma, Mudabbir Latifi and Dhairya Choudhary.
The sole purpose of this fest was to raise funds for charities across the J&K region.
Various vending stalls, DJ, joy rides besides musical performances were part of the festival. The festival was observed with utmost fervour, festivity and enthusiasm and concluded with the pledge of change by all participants.
The event was organized in association with the Chamber of Commerce and Industries sponsored by Audi and Honda motors. 91.9 Red FM was the radio partners of the event.
