State youth rich in sports talent: Yudhvir Sethi

JAMMU, Dec 28: Appreci-ating talent of youngsters’ in the field of sports, Senior BJP leader Yudhvir Sethi said that the youth of the state has enormous talent and with proper coaching and guidance young players can touch new heights in the field of sports.
He was speaking at the concluding function of the roller skating carnival, here.
Yudhvir Sethi was chief guest at the ceremony of the roller skating event and the guest of honour was President, All J&K Panchayat Conference Anil Sharma.
Prizes were distributed among the teams by Yudhvir and Anil.
On the concluding day of the carnival, roller hockey matches were played in which addiction roller hockey club lifted the senior men roller hockey title where as the host club settles for silver
In junior boys Indian club lifted the carnival trophy , where as Shiva club was declared the runner up in sub juniors. The H.C Classico was declared winners, while Roller Athlete Skating Club Jindrah won silver and Banyan International settled for bronze.
On the occasion, Yudhvir lauded the efforts of the organisers and appreciating the role Roller Skating association is playing for promoting roller skating in the state.
The whole tournament was sponsored by Gem opticians, Jammu.
