JAMMU, Jan 23: J&K Wrestling Association selected the State team, which left for participation in the 35th Boys Free Style, Greeko Roman Style and 19th Girls Sub-Junior (Cadet) Nationals Wrestling Championship, to be held at Guwahati in Assam.
The team: Gourav Gupta (50 kg), Rajinder Singh (58 kg), Paras Gupta (58 kg), Shivam Sharma (54 kg), Mohd Azam (63 kg), Nitish Choudhary (63 kg), Mukesh Singh (69 kg), Munir Ahmed (76 kg) Joginder Singh (76 kg), Zulfkar Ali (85 kg), Liyakat Ali (100 kg), Bagh Hussain (100 kg) and Mohd Asif (69 kg).
Those present on the occasion were Pradeep Sharma, president Bajrang Akhara, JAMMU, Ajay Vaid, general secretary, J&K Wrestling Association, Raju Sharma, treasurer, Sawaran Lal, joint secretary, Dheeraj Sharma and Jai Bharat, NIS coach.
