JAMMU, Jan 30: IXth J&K State Senior Kho-Kho Championship for men is starting from February 1, 2014 to at Green Play Field, Gandhi Nagar, here.
The championship is being organized by the J&K State Kho-Kho Association in collaboration with J&K State Sports Council.
12 men teams from different districts of the State are participating in this tournament which will be played on league-cum-knockout basis.
S Harbans Singh, Ex Sports Minister J&K, president J&K State Kho-Kho Association lauded the role of District Associations, Institutions, Clubs and the members of the Association in promoting the indigenous game Kho-Kho which is being played in every nook and corner of the State. Final will be played at 4:30 pm on February 2, 2014.
In this tournament, the best players will also be selected to participate in the Senior Nationals being held at Vasco in Goa from February 12 to February 16, 2014.
