JAMMU, Jan 2: The Jammu and Kashmir State men and women teams today left for Bengaluru in Karnataka to participate in the 48th Senior National Kho-kho Championship to be held from January 7 to January 11, 2015.
Before the departure of the teams, sports kits were distributed among the players by president of the Association, S Manmeet Singh in presence of vice president, B S Tirthi, secretary, Harjeet Singh and coach Anil Sharma.
The teams: Men: Pankaj Malhotra (Captain), Varun Singh, Palvinder, Shamsher Singh, Jagdev Singh, Kamal Kishore, Jagandeep Singh, Sultan Singh, Tasleen Rauf, Balbir Singh, Raman Kumar and Bilal Ahmed.
Abhishek Sharma and Anil Kumar are accompanying the team as coach and manager respectively.
Women: Pooja Sharma, Kamaljit Kaur, Rubina Bhogal, Bhawana Koul, Afreen Latif, Shifali Bhau, Jolly Sharma, Simranjeet Kaur, Afsana, Sapreet Kour, Sabahat Fayaz and Sakshi Sharma.
The team is being accompanied by Anil Sharma and Heena Khan as coach and manager respectively.
