State Kho-Kho C’ship declared open

JAMMU, Feb 24: J&K State Junior Boys and Girls Kho-Kho State Championship in collaboration with J&K State Sports Council and Ranjeet College of Education was declared open by S. Manmeet Singh, President J&K State Kho-Kho Association and Vice President Kho-Kho Federation of India, Viresh Yadav at Green Play Field, Gandhi Nagar, here.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Kuldeep Gupta, Vice President, BS Tirthi, Sr Vice President, MS Baba, Vice President.
In boys sections, Jammu defeated Anantnag by 1 innings and 16 points, Pulwama got the better of Srinagar by 1 innings and 9 points, Samba drubbed Kupwara by 1 point,
Baramulla outplayed Kathua by 7 points
In girls section, Srinagar trounced Kulgam by 11 points and Jammu thrashed Srinagar by 6 points.
The matches were officiated by
Shubham Bhau, Sahil Dev, Rohit Sharma, Bhanu Priya, Shifali Rajput, Anil Kumar, Palbinder, Gagan, Amaninder, Sandeep Jamwal, Kanchan, Keshu, Pooja, Dheeraj Sharma, Ajay Gupta, Anil Sharma and Deepak.
All India Kho Kho Referees exam was also conducted on the occasion under the supervision of Sumit Bhatia, Member KKFI Referees Board & Nationals Coach.
