JAMMU, Apr 26: 19-member Karate team of Jammu and Kashmir excelled in Kotaka’s Cup All India Karate Championship held at Talkatora Indoor Stadium, New Delhi recently.
The Championship was conducted under the technical guidance of Shihan Yogendra Chauhan, Chief Instructor and Technical Director International Karate Federation.
J&K players who excelled in the Championship included Arhant Gandotra (gold), Harsh Mehra (gold), Adit Sadhotra (gold), Tanuj Arora (gold), Anmol Balotra (gold), Deepika Singh (Silver), Samiksh Sawhney (silver), Ajitesh Sharma (silver), Krishna Pandit (silver), Samarth Jain (silver), Vasu Nargotra (silver), Mohd Ramzan (silver), Mansoor Ali (silver), Avirudh Singh (bronze), Mannat Dogra (bronze), Khushi Mehra (bronze), Nitya Singh (bronze), Saksham Bral (bronze) and Rudra Kohli (bronze).
The team was accompanied by Amit Kumar as coach and Sheetal Kumari as manager.
