JAMMU, Nov 3: The Jammu and Kashmir State Kabaddi team left for Patna (Bihar) today to participate in the 26th Sub-Junior National Kabaddi Championship to be held there from November 5 to November 9, 2014.
The team, which is being sponsored by J&K State Sports Council, will participate in the Championship under the banner of Jammu and Kashmir Amateur Kabaddi Association.
Surinder Gupta, joint secretary of the Association and Anil Modi, organizing secretary of J&K Amateur Kabaddi Association distributed sports kits among the selected players before their departure.
The team:
Boys: Varun Sharma, Amandeep, Gourav Chib, Sahil P Manhas, Aman Dogra, Karan Sharma, Ajay Kumar, Simran Pal Choudhary, Vasu Randhawa, Baljeet Singh, Navjot Singh and Sahil Kumar Sharma.
Girls: Pallavi, Simran Sharma, Sakashi Pawar, Komal Shangloo, Taniya Choudhary, Pawandeep Kour, Taniksha Sangral, Aayushi Gupta, Palvi Seth, Komal Vaid, Simran and Avantika Sethi.
The team is being accompanied by Ankush Gupta NIS Kabaddi coach and Mamta Devi as coaches.
