JAMMU, Oct 18: All Displaced KPs Non Camp Welfare Union in a meeting at Durga Nagar today held under the chairmanship of D N Kissu urged the Government to start the process for recruitment of displaced youth under PM’s package by issuing fresh advertisement for filling up of forms for higher posts also.
The meeting demanded one- time financial assistance to the tune of Rs 25 lakh to over aged educated youth so that they can generate employment avenues for themselves and will not become victims of frustration and isolation.
The meeting demanded monthly pension to all widows and old aged people who have no source of income and also demanded the medical aid for needy patients.
Prof G L Koul, P L Sudeshi, P N Raina, C L Zutshi, B N Bhat M L Pandita and Bal Ji also addressed the meeting.
