JAMMU, Feb 3: Stadium XI defeated Young Star Hockey Club by three goals to nil (3-0) in an exhibition match, organized by Sant Danna Celebration Committee in connection with Sant Gurbaksh Singh Danna Death Anniversary at KK Hakhu Astroturf Hockey Stadium, here today.
Earlier, Stadium XI dominated the game for the word go and netted the first goal in 4th minute through Manpreet Singh, who also scored third goal in 50th minute, while Jasbir scored the second goal for the team.
Former MP Janak Raj Gupta was the chief guest on the occasion, while Tejwant Singh of Santpora Danna was the guest of honour, who distributed trophies among the teams on the occasion.
Rumal Singh, general secretary Hockey J&K was present on the occasion, while the match was officiated by Dilbir Mehta, Jagjeet Singh, Sikanderpal and GS Bakshi.
