REASI, Oct 15: SSP-XI registered win over DC-XI by 24 runs in the opening match of Uri Martyrs Memorial Cricket Tournament, being played at Parade Ground, here.
Batting first, SSP-XI scored 98 runs in 15 overs for the loss of 9 wickets. Ashraf and Nitin contributed with 26 and 27 runs respectively.
In reply, DC-XI bundled out at 65 runs.
For SSP-XI, Azhar took 3 wickets and Ashraf scalped 2 wickets.
Ashraf was adjudged as Man of the Match.
On the occasion, MoS Ajay Nanda was the chief guest, while DDC Reasi, Ravinder Kumar and other officials were also present.
The tournament is being organized with the help of 61 RR.
