JAMMU, Dec 21: SSCB bagged gold in foil team event, while S Jayanta Singh of Manipur, W Roji Devi of Manipur and CA Bhawani Devi of Kerala bagged epee men, foil women and sabre women individual gold medals in the ongoing 24th Senior National Fencing Championship at Indoor Complex MA Stadium, here.
Earlier, V Vinoth Kumar, H Rabi Kumar Singh, Sonu Prajapati and DB Gurung of SSCB clinched foil team gold, while A Chittranjan, Thakur Rajeshor, Thakur Rajiv Singh and L Lenin Meitei of Manipur bagged silver medal in this event, while the bronze medals went to the teams of Delhi and Kerala.
Meanwhile, in epee men individual, the silver medal went to Ajinkya Dudhare of Maharashtra, while Dharmender Singh of SSCB and Amardeep Basediya of MP claimed bronze in this event.
In foil women individual event, M Usharani Devi of Manipur bagged silver, while the bronze medal in this event was shared by Radhika Prakash Awati of Kerala and Jasmine of Punjab.
The sabre women individual silver was bagged by Komalpreet Shukla of Punjab, while Neelam Rani of Punjab and Himani Oli of Chandigarh claimed the bronze medal.
