Sreesanth offers prayers at Sabarimala

Sabarimala, June 15:
Indian pacer S Sreesanth, who is out on bail after being arrested in the IPL spot fixing case, today offered prayers at the famed Sabarimala Ayyappa temple.
Accompanied by his close family members and friends, Sreesanth trekked the five km path up the hill shrine last evening and had ‘darshan’ this morning.
Later, he told newspersons that he had not ‘done anything wrong’
“I might have committed some minor mistakes in the past.  But I am totally innocent in the present case. I am confident of proving that.”
The cricketer hoped that he would come out clean soon.
Earlier, Sreesanth had offered ‘tulabharam’ at the Sree Poornathrayeesa Temple in Tripunithura. He chose the Kadali variety of bananas for the offering.
‘Tulabharam’ is an important ritual in tempels in Kerala in which devotees sit in a balance and offer coconut, banana, sugar or jaggery equal to their body  weight.
