SRCC starts Current Affairs batch for KAS

JAMMU, Aug 18: The SR College of Competitions (SRCC) today started a 40-hour long Current Affairs batch aiming at the September 2 KAS Preliminary examination and forthcoming KAS Mains.
The marathon coaching classes, part of the General Studies component, are being taken by visiting faculty from Delhi, Gautam Pandey.
“Looking back to almost one-year happenings around the world, with focus on developments in India, the ongoing Current Affairs component shall cover science and technology, polity, constitution, governance, economy, environment, internal security, international affairs and other social issues,” informed Mr Pandey.
Around 250 students, divided into two sessions, attended to coaching classes on the day-one.
“It is our endeavour at the SRCC to provide Jammu students best of the coaching at their door steps thus guiding them to crack the examination for the elite services of the state. We will continue with such initiatives in future too,” said Centre Head of SRCC, Praful Sharma.
