JAMMU, Nov 12: Sprawling Buds School, Laxmipuram, Bantalab as a tribute to the great leader Chacha Nehru and his love for the children celebrated “Children’s Day” in advance by taking the students for the picnic to 17 Miles, near here.
Many fun activities and games were played by the students.
Besides this a colouring and drawing competition was also organized.
The topic of the competition was “Our beloved Chacha Nehru”.
Students made beautiful drawings. Students enjoyed meals and danced on D.J. Teachers also accompanied them.
Students paid tribute to Chacha Nehru by garlanding their picture and showering flowers.
B S Rao, event manager managed the whole event.
In colouring competition, Rahul Khajuria bagged 1st position, Virat clinched second, while the third place was claimed by Ayushi Kumari.
In drawing competition, Retesh, Devangi Dewan and Akshad bagged first three position respectively.
In dance competition of students, Pranjal claimed first position, Kangana bagged second and Vibhuti Tickoo claimed third place, while in dance competition for teachers, Simran Kour Sujata Pandita and Preeti Kesar claimed first three positions respectively.
