Jammu, Mar 27: Continuing with the endeavour to strengthen police-public relations and to promote sports activities among the youth, IRP-14th Bn in coordination with different schools in the vicinity of APC Channi Himmat Jammu, started a Sports Tournament, under the Civic Action Programme at APC Channi Himmat, here today.
The 3-day long tournament was declared open by Sunil Dutt, SSP Commandant IRP-14th Bn.
While speaking on the occasion, Mr Dutt said that sports create camaraderie among the youth and shape physique of the youngsters. He said that IRP-14th Bn is organizing various sports events including Athletics, Volleyball, Cricket, Kabaddi and Badminton, etc.
