JAMMU, Dec 21: Week long sports festival, organised by Global Solace under the banner of Rising Athletes of Jagti, supported by Vishwa Kashmiri Samaj got under way at Migrant Camp Jagti, here today.
Today matches in disciplines of Badminton and Football were declared open by Pintoo ji Pandita while Akshay Kumar, vice-president Rising Athletes were also present.
In Football matches, While Club defeated Satisar Club while Sharika Club defeated Jagti Club, Muthi Club defeated Satisar and While Jagti Club trounced White Club.
In Volleyball matches, Muthi Warriors trounced Satisar Club, Purkho defeated Jagti Spartans, Purkhoo got better of Muthi and Satisar beat Jagti.
In Badminton doubles, Deepika and Vanshika emerged winner by defeating Kanika & Manvi while Sanvi & Shriya defeated Shriya & Vashik and Bhoomi & Sanchi got better of Amrita and Sakshi.
